I'm having serious trouble with them for over a week now.

    1. I added a bunch of new websites, and it says they are added, but it doesn't show the count of how many times they are found. It's been over a week since they were indexed.

    2. The same for the old websites already had in there, and the reporting (select data range) system is backwards.

I know they're in Australia, and I've tried to email them, but no avail. Anyone else having these problems?

    Jim

I got an email dated the 22nd that said they had to rebuild their clickthrough database. They figured it would be up by the 23rd, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of the same problem again.

Personally I haven't looked at the clickthrough report in months(!), since I'm not paying per-click, and as long as the traffic from there keeps on coming I'm happy. (I check my log files if I'm wondering about that.)

But hopefully they will get it fixed right so those that want to know, can.

Their reports have been hosed for months (months before that email about everything being fixed by the 23rd). The hose-up doesn't affect all URLs, so you may just not have been hit prior to these additions.

Best bet is to write them. Not that it will fix the problem, but they do generally respond... and you can find out if it's a *known* problem or your own special glitch.

I've just started with Ink from ineedhits.. the inclusion takes longer that 48 hours and the reports indicate that I've not had a peep out of them trafficwise.

Got a response if you're interested:

    Dear Jim Kukral,

Thank you for contacting us with your query. As our system contains a very
large number of Inktomi subscriptions and an even larger number of URLs in
our database the time taken to resolve this click-thru problem has
    increased.

At the moment our Technical Support Team is updating all URL statuses to
    current,
but the click-thru data will take a few more days to regenerate.
    Consequently, no
new current click-thru data is being included until all of the older
    click-thru
    data has been re-generated.

We apologize to you for this extended delay and the inconvenience that this
    may
be causing you. In the interim I can send you an extract of your click-thru
    data
straight from our feed from Inktomi to give you an update of your hits over
    the
    last 2 months.

If you have any further queries please reply to this email.

    Kindest Regards,
    Customer Service

What would be nice is if they gave us an extra month on our new sites that we have submitted to to change a url. That would be fair seeing how we can't judge how they are performing.

Can anyone give me some insight as to what the percentages represent at Ineedhits? Thanks!

I may have dozed off, but what percentages are you asking about?

When you click on report and then do a daily stats check for clickthroughs it will give you the keyword seached and how many clicks. Then it has the average rank percent. I guess i should of been more clear. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon7.gif> What exactly is the Average Rank?

It's not a percentage. It's the average rank of where that search terms show in the returned results.

I'm not sure which engines (MSN, HotBot, Overture, etc) they use in the average or if they only use ones that were clicked. I THINK it's an average of only the SEs used for those clicks -- for example if "blue widgets" has two clicks and one came from MSN where you're ranked 1 and one came from HotBot (lol) where you're ranked 2, that column would say 1.5.

Uh, YEAH! They're my top seller, I'm raking it in, can't believe how much money I'm making selling them.

In fact, I think you should take down all your other pages and ONLY sell blue widgets, you'll make a killing, REALLY!

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Heidi, have you checked MSN to see if the pages are there? I've found that reporting often falls behind reality.
