Question How do I track SAS links?
Is there and SID with ShareASale? Or do I just use the "view" in the stats?

Use the &afftrack=. Append the &afftrack= with your tracking code. Use alpha or numerical codes or a combination thereof. The &afftrack= can be appended to the productID when using the pagemaker or data feed as in (&productID=453520444&afftrack=T124).

    Hope this helps.

Yes, you can append the &afftrack= with any code you prefer, not withstanding that there may be some special characters that won't work. Keep in mind that the actual product that the shopper buys may not be the one that the code represents. It will only be the link that led the shopper to the product purchased. For example, the link with &afftrack=productabc may lead the shopper to a page that contains other products which the shopper purchases instead of productabc. There is no way to identify specific products purchased from any particular link. At least none of which I am aware.

You can also go to Activity Details under Reports and view the sale. There by clicking on View in the BannerID Clicked XXXXXXXXX you will be able to see the product that may have been purchased. Usually this will be only the image or banner for the link that was clicked.
