    Space Shuttle launch on video.
Shuttle Launch Video shot from the dock where I live. It is about 30 miles as the crow flies from the launch site. The video doesn't do the site of the launch much justice.
It's kinda noisy. It was windy. Complete with my neighbor's commentary

    That is funny at times!

    Thanks for sharing Scott.
It's bringing back good and some sad memories.
I spent a few years around St. Patrick AFB, Satellite Beach. I had a great view of the launch pad from my bedroom balcony, (Suntree Country Club). The Space Shuttle blast off is so impressive.
I was there when the Challenger disaster occurred.

That was cool. We watched the launch last night on NASA tv channel from the 9 minute countdown. I never get bored with it. Still hoping for affordable commercial flights in my lifetime, but not counting on it.

    Thanks, Scott!

I'll have the kids use your affiliate link. I've told them when they're trying to figure out what to give me for my 70th birthday - Fannie May candies are nice, but they should be saving for a group gift to space, too. And who doesn't want to blast Mom off to space sometimes?

Almost looks like a UFO, doesnt it?

Anyway, thanks for the post. I live in Orlando, FL and normally step outside to see the launches, but I fell asleep and missed this one.
