MSN AdCenter volume vs. Google AdWords?

How does AdCenter traffic compare to AdWords?
As I mentioned in another thread, I've launched a bunch of keyword campaigns on Microsoft AdCenter, by having their staff upload all my current Google AdWords ads to AdCenter.
After 48 hours, what I'm seeing is quite disappointing: my AdCenter traffic volume (clicks and impressions) seems to be less than 1% of my Google AdWords traffic volume -- even if I ignore the AdSense/content network activity . I certainly expected the traffic to be lower, but I was expecting something like 10% to 30% of my AdWords volume.
What experience have others had? Am I missing something?

With our internal marketing the volume has been about 11-17% of that of Adwords.
Our CPA has been almost identical, even slightly more profitable as a % of the spend.
Not sure if that makes you feel better or worse, but that is our experience to date

Oh great...that means if I take the $200 MSN signon bonus mentioned in another thread, it'll be sitting there for 10 years
But then again, it may actually get used up if they bother to show the ads without trying to get me to pay 50c+/click!

Pretty much the same thing as Dman and Matt for us too Mark. When we first set up adcenter in May, I was pleasantly surprised to see that #'s of sales were about 20% of what Adwords does for us. Click volume was about 15% of Adwords, and being as it was just released from Beta we thought it would grow.
However, in recent months it has decreased to a level that is probably not far off from what you are saying. For instance an adwords campaign we have running ended today with 172 clicks. The same program on Adcenter had 11.
Looks for now like adcenter is not much of a player - but hopefully they will get it together and traffic will pick up in 07. Good luck.

10-15% here. Good quality traffic (like AdWords).

I actually just got the numbers from our marketing department.
Across the board for November here were the numbers
Google Clicks - MSN Clicks (per 100)
100 - 14
Google Conversion % - MSN Conversion %
27 - 28
Google CPA - MSN CPA (10 being the base)
10 - 9.98
Almost identical in terms of the bottom line, profit.
Of course we make a lot more off G because we get more clicks.

Spending on AdCenter vs. AdWords for same time period

I thought I'd share a little more data, now that my AdCenter campaigns are a little bit more mature.
For the same time period (in mid-December), I ran identical campaigns on Google AdWords and Microsoft AdCenter -- the exact same keywords and the exact same ad copy (more than 5,000 keywords and more than 2,000 ads), but with varying CPC rates, and different off-peak campaign attributes. Here are the summary results:
5,593 clicks from 308,211 impressions (1.81% CTR)
Average CPC $0.06 / Total Spent: $355.47
393 clicks from 21,379 impressions (1.84%) CTR
Average CPC: $0.08 / Total Spent: $33.15
Of course, I don't yet have the most important data (conversions) in a format that allows easy comparison.

I have found a huge drop in the quality of traffic on MSN over the last few months from 3 companies I help with PPC. However I am starting to see the quality start to get better again, I just wish it would go up as fast as it dropped. One thing I have been doing is lowering my bids on keywords to attract the people who are reading the ads and not just clicking because they see a keyword. Also, removing some of the key terms from the ads are helping attract quality traffic as well.
