    No REI Forum ?
How come there's no REI sub-forum here? According to CJ's network stats, REI is one of their top performers (in its class).

My experience with them has been horrible, but I'm perhaps too small-time for their business model. I'm surprised I never see any discussion about them.

Yeah, I love their B & M, but they are not serious about their affiliate program.

Thanks. That about mirrors my own experience. I actually tried contacting the AM through regular customer service. Eventually I realized they were just ignoring me.

One of the posters mentioned that REI offered parasitic links. How does a merchant create a parasitic link?

And how would I (as a newby) recognize it?

They mean they have parasites (bad affiliates) in their program. The REI program is horribly run. But I do get sales. Cabelas is the best for me, no competition. REI could be great if they cleaned it up and got a real affiliate manager.

REI's aff manager recently left the company. Not sure if they are replacing her or if her boss is covering.
