We have some very cool catalogues for one of our clients in PDF format, does anyone know a way to append or edit all the links in a PDF file.
Basically I want to append the Linkshare tracking URL before every link.
Ideas radical and simple welcome

That's a great idea.
Any full version of Adobe Acrobat should be able to edit the PDF file for you, including editing the links. Provded, of course, that the file isn't locked for security.John Walter

PHP has PDF creation and handling abilities. It would be possible to pass the affiliates ID to the PHP script creating the PDF on the fly giving the affiliate a personalized version of the PDF. Of course this wouldn't work for type in traffic if the catalogue was printed off and contained merchant URL's as the text but the affiliates as the hyper link. You could just have the affiliate URL in the catalogue for type ins too.

Acrobat pro also has some decent find and replace commands, so you may be able to get it done that way...Jason Rosenbaum
