Thanks to all for the great advice and encouragement! A year ago I only hoped to be able to do it.

    WTG Vicki!

Any new goals set yet? Once I got over 1k my eyes got bigger and realized that I was nowhere near the glass ceiling of affiliate marketing.

Congratulations. I think I will take my wife out tonight to celebrate (was looking for an excuse to go back to a lovely little restaurant in the mountains).

Vicki, I'd visit your website. But can't find it in your profile.

    >>Vicki, I'd visit your website. But can't find it in your profile.

NeverExpires, since this is the second time you have raised the issue of someone's URL in your first 10 posts, I'm guessing you are unaware -- MOST people do not reveal their URLs in this forum.

People have a variety of reasons for not revealing them (protecting their business assets being the number one reason), but whatever their reason, the decision NOT to reveal is one that is accepted and respected in this forum.

Asking people for their URLs (by direct question or insinuation) is considered extremely bad form.

    Hi and thanks everyone!!

As far as my URL, even if you saw it, it wouldn't help you. Everyone is different on how they approach things. What might sell on my site, wouldn't on your site vice versa.

I'll give you an example - some people do well selling ink. I couldn't sell ink if my life depended on - lol. My audience is just not interested. Some people sell computer stuff - won't move on my site.

There is not magic list of merchants - there is no one set way to do things. The key is to be yourself.

    Good Luck to all!!

I know many people want to see sites so the can "borrow" ideas. That's why I won't give my site out.

However, after communicating so much with fellow ABWer's I've become REAL curious about their sites (but never ask). I'm curious as to what type of site these well spoken, thought provoking, encouraging affiliates here at ABW actually have. Then, too, I'd just love to see the site of the guy who claims he makes $xx,xxx.xx a year doing this (there are a couple I've doubted).

But, as with many things in life, we will never know. And that's probably the way it should be. Except maybe for Leaders site - I plan to go there and steal...

...his car! (edited: Oops, ...her car.)
