Angry What kind of Merchant SCAM is this?
    World Survey Group, LLC.
    SlyDetective.com

    SAS Merchant ID - 10740

When you join this merchant and you use your SAS affiliate link - go to the order page and it goes to a Clickbank order page and affid=none.

    WTF?

Could they be using clickbank just to process the payment? And the affid might be the non-existent clickbank affiliate id instead using the shareasale one. Maybe I'm giving too much benefit of the doubt here? What would happen if there were cookies for both clickbank and shareasale, how would they seperate that out? Maybe it is a scam.

The Code reads the user's cookie, not just what's showing on an order page or URL. And, the action isn't happening on the order page.

Just going on what was stated in the first post, it sounds okay. But, I haven't looked at the merchant's site (since I'm not in any that program), so it's possible that my opinion would change if I did...

Visit their site, affiliate link goes to a page saying you must be a clickbank member. Looks like they are new to sas though...would be interested to know if it tracks.

On their website there is a link that says "affiliates" or some such wording ....it is a link to their program and that page says you must belong to clickbank.

Janew ... what do you want me to look into? Doesn't sound like you are interested in the merchant at all, if that is the case I wouldn't recommend promoting them.

    I think this part:

"When you join this merchant and you use your SAS affiliate link - go to the order page and it goes to a Clickbank order page and affid=none.

    WTF?"

I think they just want an explanation as to what they're seeing, the clickbank order page. Is it just for order processing, a merchant who's at clickbank and decided to open up their program at SAS etc. There have been past posts with other networks too when a merchant is at more than one place and they check out a link and it looks like an id for the other network they're not promoting the merchant thru. So when someone clicks a link to a merchant thru one network, they're naturally going to wonder why they're seeing something from another network. I think janew is just wanting to know how all that works in this case.

From what it looks like they are using Clickbank for their order processing.. and delivery of digital goods... Orders have been tracking though.
    Thanks,
