So, what was the favorite gift you received?
The gift from Santa to everyone was the big hit in our house.

It is the Guitar Hero playstation 2 games, part one and two with guitar controller.

Our 16 yr old daughter, my husband and I played it all day yesterday in career mode. We are currently half way through medium level in part one.

I am going to look around for a good deal on a second guitar controller so we can play 2 player without using a regular controller because it is WAY confusing.

Personal gifts that I loved were the fuzzy robe & CD's from my hubby and a Bad Cat a day calendar for 2007.

So, what gifts did you get that you really liked?

    Best Gift Of All
Our three sons, daughters in law and two grandbabies were here for Christmas - and that was our best gift of all. A nice day with the gang, sledding, hot chocolate and then opening presents for the little one's!

A Ralph Lauren handbag and discovering that my husband makes gorgeous microfoam for cappuccino.

I also can't wait to spend the gift cards I received from the in-laws and I'm looking forward to making many yummy stir-fries in the wok they gave me.

I got the Braun 360 degree shaving system. It's awesome.

My daughter's favorite gift was a stocking stuffer that my little brother got her, a 50 cent little pink piggy bank, lol. At least the Easy Bake Oven I got her came in second.

I got a Panasonic ES 8078 one, but how could that even come close to a huge book on fishing?! [don't tell my wife I liked the book better than the shaver!]

The air compressor from Sear's that I've been wanting for years. My wife thinks I'll never use it, but there are tons of things to pump air into (basketballs, rafts, swimming pools, car tires, etc, etc). And I can finally clean off my work bench, my miter saw and other powertools. Air compressors are a beautiful thing....

Godzilla, a 1400 pound horse, part Belgian and part wild mustang, with awsome hand-carved saddle. I just sat on the saddle and cried.

Got Rayman Raving Rabbids for Nintendo Wii. Hilarious stuff. These crazy, screaming rabbits from outerspace abduct you and make you do all sorts of silly stuff.

    Have a look:

I know what it looks like now but still am unsure of its use.

A pot holder? Stuffed with pot? Where does the "sticker" come in?

The best gift I've ever had in my whole life is my daughter.

"Children are the heritage of the Lord"

There's nothing material that could ever come close or be such a lifetime blessing.

I've spent this whole holiday season reveling in how fortunate I've been to have her, and to appreciate how very much each and every person in my life really means to me, both past and present, who I have love for and/or friendship with, or who I receive love and true friendship from. That's really the reason for the season - it's not about things, it's about love - and it's about people.
