Question PDF Base URL help ?
    Hi All

I'm working to make one of our clients catalogs usable as an affiliate partner tool, we're getting their gradually, however I have run into an issue with the Base URL system in the Adobe editor it truncates the base LinkShare custom URL

    As follows

    http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/

    It stores

    http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/...RM1=http://www.

But for the URLs added it just adds the former rather than the whole line, which is what i need.

Does anyone have any ideas, solutions, software tips on what might get around this issue.

If I can get the above done, then I have another software that will allow custom creation (with precoded links) of the catalogs near enough on the fly

    Cheers

    Just an educated guess
Just a guess Chris, but the extra "http://" in the URL maybe tripping the software. Have tried to substitute the http:// in the parameter with http%3A%2F%2F

    So it looks like this:

    http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin....tp%3A%2F%2Fwww.

This may hide the extra http:// and allow the full URL to be displayed.

    Hope this helps.

    I'll be darned
Are you creating the document on Word, exporting it to PDF, then adding the URLs?
I can't imagine why acrobat is doing that to you.

No I have the PDF from the company.

The aim is that they have all the web links in the PDF already, so I need to append to them the LinkShare Custom link URL, which I should be able to do by setting the PDF Base URL to all the Links.

The issue is that the base url is truncating to

    http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/

    Cheers

The only other resource might be adobe's forums or support docs, though I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything.
