    Tooting My Kids Horn
Boxing day (Dec 26th) there was a fire at an apartment building in this area. About 30 families, roughly 100 people are out of a home right now and a lot of these people lost everything. There has been a huge swell of support for them and it's been nice to see. Madawg suggested to the kids they get some of their things (clothes, toys, etc) and see what they could do without thinking we could donate a bag or so.
Between madawg and the puppies, they raised 6 bags of toys and clothing and a big box filled with utensils, plates, etc. Each of the kids even offered up some of their most prized possessions.
We are heading out to drop them off now.

    I love these guys.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Wonderful for kids to be able to give up their treasured toys to help out kids who have lost everything. Great values to be raised with Pop

    Happy New Year!

Agree with the others. You and Madawg are doing a wonderful job raising your children. Several years ago my in-laws house was destroyed by a fire and it's a very devestating thing to happen. Your children probably don't even realize just how very, very much what they've done has been appreciated. You have every reason to be very proud of them. They are sweet children. and the two of you are great parents.
