    Jewelry Television - Another clueless merchant
    If anybody has the tel. # for the lady at Jewelry Television can you please PM it to me - I lost her card somehow.

    They ask for coupon code at checkout but they never update their monthly coupon - the one in the CJ interface is for October of last year. CONVERSION KILLER!

    before I dropped them, I was getting about a 75% reversal rate from jewelry television.

    I dont care about reversal rate, i care about the bottom line. there is none if the conversion is killed by no coupon available.

    Updated Jewelry Television coupons
    JTV has updated all of the coupon codes as of Dec 20. You are correct, some of the codes had become outdated.

    If you are still showing an expired code, you can refresh your content thru the CJ interface. All links in the CJ interface should be current.

    Really. This has been going on for over a year now. At one point one person there was kind enough to provide codes for several months in advance, but only because i asked. In many other instances, I have not been able to post current codes until the thrid week of the month. And this after emails requests and sometimes even telephone calls.

    A company that probably does tens of millions $$$ sales volume per month should be able to hire a kid to come over after school one day a month to spend 20 minutes posting current coupons.

    Imagine how many sales are abandoned at the cart because the current coupon is not available? I tried to imagine it and i am very lucky that I did not have a stroke.

    Pardon me for hijacking this thread and I'll admit I'm fairly ignorant of the couponer business model, but I've always wondered: if a merchant has recurring discounts via coupon codes that themselves don't change in value from month to month (e.g. a 10% ongoing coupon offer), why even bother changing the darned code each month? It adds extra work to both the merchant, who has to change it and communicate that fact to affiliates, and of course the affiliates who have to change these codes on all their sites constantly. What's the point?
