Post Holiday Shoe Sales - Up or Down?
Shoe sales were great for Oct, Nov, Dec but seem to be waaaaaaaaaay down now that the holidays are over. Anyone else seeing a trend like this, probably a 50-60% decline on a daily basis compared to the previous three months.

    Yes, and it's perfectly normal.

Yep. We are between seasons. Most everyone who needs boots has them by now and it is too cold for people to worry about Spring sandals yet. The impulse buyers will work on getting their credit cards paid down or off through February, then they will be back.
I too see a sizeable drop in volume, but conversions and EPC are close to the same as they were over the past 60 days. It is the amount of traffic that has bottomed out.

UncleScooter is correct, at one time I had five shoe stores and at this time of year the brick and mortar stores are "giving them away". Take a walk through your local mall and check out the shoe stores.
