    fyi - reporting delayed
    Not that it really matters as it's a regular occurence, but reporting is delayed via the notice on CJ.

    That's the first time I'm seeing this:
    "Currently some clients are experiencing reporting delays in the CJ Account Manager™."
    Does it mean we don't have all the same tracking and reporting? The old joke about the good and bad server is coming back.

    By the way, I must be on the right server. I had sales all morning long, the last ones reported on 8-Jan-2007 11:00 PST
    So, it seems no delay for me but ...

    Yeah, noticed that too. I seem to be getting sales fine this morning/afternoon. It's likely a few servers are being bad - who knows.

    It seems to be affecting just some merchants. Some of mine look fine. Others don't appear to have reported for a couple days.

    One of my merchants just sent me the explanation that CJ gave them:

    Cj was getting slammed over the weekend with merchants batching in their cancel/return files before the 10th of the month cut off.
    This is complete lie!

    1) Most merchants work Monday through Friday. They're not going to be sending cancel/return files over the weekend.

    2) If there are so many cancellations and returns that it bogs down the entire system for days, there's a much bigger problem than delays. It's just not true.

    I think you've hit the nail on the head here Michael . There is definitely something going on here other than a reporting delay, and they are not admitting it. Not that I would expect them to of course!
