    WM-Wiki *bold* and _italic_
WM-Wiki doesn't seem to be working for me --

[Click here > http://www.fourthworld.com] works fine but

*bold* and _ITALIC_ gives me this output:

    b>boldb> and i>ITALICi>

Please send me the template being used and I'll look into how that bug may have survived nearly a year of public testing.

I've had exactly the same issue. Has anyone used WM-Wiki bold and italic successfully?

We have a good many customers for whom the WM-Wiki tag is reported to be working well, and we had no reported issues with it during its six months of public beta testing before it premiered in the final release. In fact, one customer has used the WM-Wiki tag to post the Reviews section of a major computing publication, so we have good reason to believe it can be used effectively.

Given the odd symptoms reported here, I'd really like to see a <2MB portion of the feed this is being used with.

I got three copies of the same email on this issue yesterday, and if you're the same person please consider this my reply here: please send me a <2MB portion of the feed you're using this with, along with the template you're using, and I'll gladly look into this to see what's causing it to work is it has with your setup.

Also, if you aren't using the latest version it would be helpful to double-check this in that version before sending the files. We do a lot of work even between maintenance releases, and it may be that whatever's causing this anomalous behavior has already been addressed.

If not, then please send the files and I'll see what I can find.

Either way, please let me know.

Hi, Thanks for getting back so quickly.
    VERSION
On my About WebMerge page it says I am running v4.2.1 I’ve just downloaded and re-installed from your updates page where it says latest version is 4.2.2, but my About page still says it is v4.2.1 Is it possible that your download page doesn't have the most recent file on it? Unlikely I know...

    FILES
    I'll send the files shortly.

Yep, it was me who sent my query to three different email addresses last night. Sorry about that. Wasn't sure which one to use, so thought I'd try all three in the hope that one was actively monitored...
    Cheers

nioz sent me his files, which helped me hone in on the issue quickly. I've sent him a fix to test, and if any others here rely on the WM-Wiki tag it would be helpful to have your feedback on this fix as well. No other parts of the program are affected, so no need to test this build if you're not using the WM-Wiki tag, but if you are drop me a note and I'll send the link so you can test it.
