    Hacking question
Hi. My php links page was redirected by some evildoer so that a visitor would not go to my links page but to another site (dealing with something else starting with "L").

I've disabled the folder now, but when I looked at the files there, none had been tampered with. Neither does the .htaccess show any redirects or tampering. I haven't checked the mysql database.

Needless to say, I'm VERY concerned. How did they do this, and how do I protect against it?

Tell us how you discovered it? Was the page a "jump" page?

Is this a links page where you are offering people a link back? And if so, if the person is allowed to enter a description of their site the could be inserting some HTML in the descrptions that is causing the jump to their site when your links page loads. You'd probably see something in the mysql, an iframe or something like that. Look in the mysql at the last site to be submited and work back from there.
