    De-Activated Merchants
Can anyone tell me if ShareASale email affiliates when a merchant is no longer with them or is the only way of telling is to check here at ABW

My experience is you just figure it out yourself because the merchant runs out of funds (goes offline) and does not answer your emails or in some cases a merchant will be kind enough to send out emails letting you know the program is ending. I have never received an email directly from SAS.

there's a page inside SAS where you can tell if a merchant is active, low on funds, or "temporarily offline."

still not the best solution, however.

This page is fine if your merchant is still with ShareASale but if it is deactivated there is no way of telling

Affilliates with many merchants must check them ALL daily or like me find out when i click on my website Links

What's needed is a simple deactivated merchants list like LS, Performics, CJ have.

    Brian,

How about dumping the invalid refferals like CJ does....it's a non issue until traffic is generated and when that traffic is being thrown away we should be alerted...just dump the invalid refferals :-)

I'll echo mrbshouse here and add that it would be nice to be emailed automatically when we have affiliate clicks being invalidly referred to deactivated or out-of-funds merchants. If I recall, CJ sends out an email for deactivated merchants as they occur (but unfortunately not for those that don't have the funds to pay their affiliates).
