Unhappy I think I am out of my League with MSN
I tried to start my first campaign and I was rejected. I read the guidelines and do not understand how it works and how I can get my campaign accepted.

Was it my ad that was rejected?
    My keywords?
My bids? which I don't understand at all.

I am just confused and I do not know what to do.

Please if anyone can help shed some light, It would be greatly appreciated.

You should ask them, I don't think anybody here would know why it was rejected. Not enough info. They've been pretty good the couple of times I've contacted them.

They have been rejecting things alot more recently. The best thing is to read the reasons they rejected words or campaigns, try to fix them and then resubmit the order. If it rejects again then wirte to customer service and ask them for advice on getting your order cleared.

Since you are one of our affiliates

I would be more than happy to hook you up with our marketing department if needed...perhaps they can help?

Shoot me an email or IM. I looked for you on IM but you were not on.

The first thing to do is check you haven't made a mistake in the URL of your landing page. That would get you rejected.

Also check for spelling errors in the ad. That too would get you rejected.

AdCenter also don't really approve of the use of the word 'free' in ads - don't ask me why. But if you've got that word in your ad, change it.

Check these things then resubmit. If that doesn't work, come back here and post your keywords, etc. We'll get you sorted, don't worry.

Was it YOU that was rejected, or that campaign that was rejected?

I can tell you that if you write asking about something you'll get a reply from a CSR and then have contact with a point person.

I agree with Web. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Contact MSN customer service and they will guide you in the direction you need to go. Good luck.

If you can call or are in US call MSN adcenter support 800-518-5689.

Each time I've called support is fast, friendly and know their stuff.

If you are having the destination url going to a site with affiliates links (without actually selling any products yourself) could be a reason. I think that was a problem I had once.
    Good Luck!

I think in this particular case (and correct me if I am wrong davis1120) but they have their own site and are using our cobranded forms so their should not be any affiliate links etc on the page.

But I definitely think this is true of MSN.
