    Vancouver Affiliate Dinner!
    http://www.ads-links.com/index.php/2...orking-dinner/

Anyone going? I had to miss out last year due to medical issues but will be going this year.

Cannot wait to meet Chris Sanderson finally. (should I bring a big suitcase to smuggle you into the US in?)

I'll be there for sure. I am pretty sure that Brian and Chris are going to be here too because they always are.

Hope to see more of you.

I really wanted to make it this year, but we're going to be on cruise to Mexico with the kids that week. I told Ian he needs to schedule next year's dinner sometime other than the President's Week break. Darn Canadians don't know anything about President's Day!

I'm Canadian so all I know about president's day is I gear up for all the sales
I have yet to make one of these dinners. I live about 30 minutes from where they have all been, but once again it's a no go.
Heading to LA to watch the canucks/kings game.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Don't forget, you need a passport now to travel from the US to Canada:

    Hey Missy,

    Check out the Fairmont Waterfront:

    http://www.fairmont.com/waterfront/

We stayed there with the kids last year on our way to/from Whistler and had a blast. It has a great view of the harbor, the restaurant is excellent and they even have two in-hotel dogs:

    http://www.nwsource.com/travel/scr/t...y.cfm?st=42308

that you can take on walks in case you end up missing your dog at home. Well that is if you have a dog at home

    Hope this helps.

P.S. Hey it's my 400th post and it only took me two years. At this rate I'll reach 1000 in 2010!

Thanks Todd. Not sure that I'll miss my dog as much as I'll miss my kids... Now, if the hotel had rental kids to hang out with, I'd have been sold ;-)

After talking to my hubby last night, I found out that he stayed at Opus several times before and he highly recommended that one. It also received some kudos from a few other folks, so I'm going to try that one this time. After hearing how wonderful the area is, I wish I could stay longer!

    Thanks again for the suggestion.

    Vancouver Aff Dinner
I went last year and it was a great time!

I highly recommend you get out to Vancouver. It's a beautiful place with mountains, ocean and mild winters (for canada). It also happens to be the stage for the 2010 Olympics.

    Make sure you check out:

    Stanley Park
English Bay (there are even palm trees)
Granville Island (great area to hang out)
    Gastown
    Yaletown (for Celeb sightings)
Robson St. (for all the shopping)

Props to Ian Lee for getting this going again.

It looks like I'm stuck in Toronto this year. I'm still choked about this.

I'm sitting in Seattle airport right now after my aiport nightmare getting out of Vancouver tonight (L-O-N-G S-T-O-R-Y!!!)

Supposedly I will be getting back into Orlando by 8:00am tomorrow morning they say, but I'm not too hopeful

But, aside from the immigration issues (both in and out of Canada) and now flight mishaps going home, the event was great!

I got to meet a lot of new folks and spend quality time with people that I only get to see for a few brief minutes at the Affiliate Summit conferences. Ian did a great job of putting it all together and I look forward to coming back next year.

    Whistler was awesome too!

I took a ton of pictures and video and will try to put them up some time over the weekend.

I'd definitely have to agree. It was a fantastic dinner (both foodwise and companywise) and I'll definitely be heading back next year.

I can't believe Customs got you AGAIN, Missy! I've got my fingers crossed for a speedy trip home for you.
