Thumbs down What to you think about this.
Although I am on my way doing affiliate marketing. I am still having some problems
I sent over 350 targeted clicks from msn.com to Ski and Sun and they say there
are no sales. They are now acknowleding 114 clicks and o sales.

There is incorrect reporting going on my stats do not reflect accurately why?

    Hi Tracy,
I don't see any transactions for you in regards to Sun & Ski. Please advise where you found the numbers you supplied in the previous email. Is something not being recorded?

    Thanks,

Don't think these stats show 350+ clicks, I see only 67. Is there another report?

    Total Spend 4.53
    Total Impressions 137,111
    Total Clicks 67
    Avg. CTR% .05
    Avg. Position 4.17
    Avg. CPC .07

    trcyph,

Make sure there aren't any ShareASale links in auto surf programs as it is against the terms of use on ShareASale.

As for the clicks shown above, I am not clear on your question - I am showing the clicks but there aren't any reporting problems on that merchant program ... the volume of clicks isn't really high enough to be outside of normal acceptable range.

    Hi trcyph,
It sound like part of your probelm is that MSN shows 350 clicks while the SAS system shows less then that number. If this is the case there are some explanations for that. How many clicks does SAS show for that same period?

    Possible Explanations for the differences:
    1. SAS system is not counting some clicks even though they are comming through. This could be duplicate clicks if they are removing them from the reports.

    2. Some of the clicks may not follow the redirects. When you have an ad in MSN -
that click goes to the MSN ad server =>
is redirected to SAS and then =>
    redirected to the merchant site.

If the browser/bot does not follow these redirects (usually 301s & 302s) then MSN would count it as a click while the rest would not see them as they stopped there.

There are other options as well. You will need to get some more info/help from SAS and the merchant.
