    Which one is better...Paypal or 2CO ?
I just wanna for ideas... which one is better between Paypal and 2Checkout ? I just thought about creating a Paypal account when I read an ebook. It is a true story about how terrible when using Paypal as payment processor.

    asuka,

Easy with the link droping, consider yourself warned.

BTW, the search feature does work.

I think both are reputed but you have still plenty option available that best suited to your location and your need, check out few more processors like worldpay, chronopay, moneybookers, protx, authorize.net etc.

Paypal is actually a pretty good merchant service when you upgrade to their virtual terminal at only $20/month. Low rates and very easy to use/integrate into a website. I recommend it.

I agree with Jewlery. I would definitely go with Paypal. You can withdraw the money into your bank account immediately at no extra cost. Paypal will take out less money than 2checkout.com. Depending on if it's a physical or virtual product, I'd probably go with clickbank.com as well so you can get affiliates without setting up your own program. I'd write some code so if it came from a clickbank link, then show the clickbank checkout, otherwise show the paypal checkout.

I don't think either are serious options, to be honest. By all means offer Paypal as a backup option, but 2CO just makes a merchant site look like amateur hour.

If you can't get a real merchant account for whatever reason, then http://www.optimalpayments.com is a good choice as is WorldPay.

I don't like Paypal's fee structure, but it's the "enemy" that everyone is using and accepting.

Tips: Try to avoid currency conversion with them, as they take quite a spread. I also find they try to steer you towards using your bank account as payment, but I prefer using credit card for the points. You have to change it each time you pay, so watch for the "choose another funding method link" closely if you are like me.

Also their phone no. is hard to find if you need support - it's (402) 935-2080.

I definitely agree with Geoff!! I ALWAYS have to click on the choose another funding method link and choose my credit card, which is extremely annoying. Paypal should think about the interests of their users in this regard, and make it remember the default. They recently made a change to this form, to make it more confusing to not change to a credit card payment method.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has to deal with that. I had to reply once I saw that.

2CO is more expensive than paypal in the long run. Though if you're doing lots of international orders to croatia and such (smaller countries) paypal doesn't support them.

For European countries both chronopay and multicards are good option IMO.
