Mine were down very briefly earlier but seem to be back up now. CJ.com seems to be working ok now too.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

    AbeBooks links all down
Just out of curiosity, how often does this happen? I've seen CJ (the site) down, but I've never seen all their links down as well (before this time - I did verify that our links were down).

Everything is still down for me. The last time I recall CJ affiliate links being down was last summer and they were down for several hours. It was a Sunday night.

I checked a few links I knew of when this was first posted and just now and all work. Perhaps it is a certain server at CJ that is down.

This is the third time I have seen it. I did not see this one, but it appears it happened.

They were down for most of the morning once and CJ paid affiliates an estimated amount that was fair. Sh*t happens. Their reporting fails often, but always catches up. They can't process payments and report sales simultaneously but overall uptime is acceptable in my opinion.

LOL, before I posted this I checked. Can't get into the interface and my links are down too. OOPS! Come on CJ

I'm not so sure this is purely CJ's problem. I'm having a hard time getting to some sites on the Internet right now, including my own. It's possible that the same problem is affecting the CJ links. Just a thought.

Michael, that is what I am thinking. I don't see any problems on any CJ links I'm trying, even those using the newer servers and URLs.

Hmm, haven't got a sale for 13 hours now so something must be wrong.

I'm OK with them here. Remember, there have been DNS issues in their area before.

I'm ok too. I've gotten sales fine - so it must only be wrong with certain groups of people.

weird. i've also experienced yahoo and some sections of google down and out early this morning.

and i think there was a message of server problem at google, so i don't think the prob is my isp or computer.

must be the internet getting overloaded by superbowl stuff.

We have continued to track all day. That's one plus to batching in our results. Quick question though. When the links are down, is CJ able to still track what is going on through a seperate server or is all information lost?

Hmmm, I'm not sure how batching makes any difference as to tracking. Could you explain?

If the links are down, your website is inaccessible so there is nothing to track.

If I understand how batching works or how our batching works, when the link is clicked, it has the cookie placed in our system with the cj tracking, then it is fed back to cj. I could be completely wrong as I am not a techie. But that is how it was explained to me, accept with alot more detail.

When everyone was saying links were not working, I checked our reports internally and saw that we were still tracking bids. Therefore I do not think our links went down. I could be wrong, but I feel very certain that none of my affiliates lost anything when other links might not have been working. We have shown normal tracking all day long. Then again, when you click on the link, I think it does route through cj and if CJ was down then it obviously wouldn't work, in that case then I am 100% off.

Either way, you have inspried me to go through the reports and system again to make sure things are the way they should be for my affiliates and hopefully I will again see traffic and bids coming in without a pause between 11:46 and 11:55 which is the period of time between two of your posts up there when your links were down.

Ok I just finished and I did find bids being placed after entering our site from, I am guessing the affiliates site, since it came from activating an affiliate link between that time period. Then again, maybe it was also from a cookie placed, either way, you guys are much mroe technologically advanced than me and are probably right so I am going to really read alot more in detail about batch processing and how our company is doing it.

It's 7 P.M. eastern time and every time I attempt to log in to CJ I get "There was an error processing your request".
