I came across this the other day:
It's a Termplate maker extension for customizing Joomla front-end sites with Dreamweaver. I'm wondering if anyone out there has used it, or heard any feedback info about it. It comes with a Wizard, Training video, and free upgrades for life.
I don't know if i should buy it just yet, but i am itching. It's $100.
Input is greatly appreciated here.

If you have Dreamweaver and are able to use it with the extension, then it may be worth it. You would pay a designer more than $99 to make you one template. However, are your skills up to making a professional looking template or would hiring a designer be a better way to go?Deborah Carney

I was a graphic designer before venturing into the affiliate realm, so designing isn't an obstacle for me (albeit, i am front end only, any type of complex programming has always scared me off).
I guess i will get this thing, and let everyone know how useful it is.

I've got a membership at Rockettheme.com. I'm very happy with their templates, and for $79 a year you have access to all of them. It's pretty cool.

If you look around, the template for the site selling the tool is a free template, a stock one. That would tell me something.

So i picked up m65's Joomla Template Kit...
For creating sites from scratch it's pretty good. It has a wizard which generate the proper PHP code for all the elements, components, etc. It then creates and updates a continuous XML file and zips everything up for easy template.
I checked out Rockettheme several times, but i got the impression that it takes a lot more work and manual coding to modify those templates through Dreamweaver.
I just like total control over the look and feel of my sites.
If anyone can correct my assumption on RocketTheme, please let me know. (they do have really sweet templates)

Keep searching around, I remember there being a FREE template kit for dreamweaver somewhere on the mambo forums. FYI, Joomla was mambo a little more than a year ago, and most stuff for mambo still applies to joomla.
