Hey Al, stick around and the blues will clear up. You need to participate and get affiliates to trust you a bit. Let them get to know you.

    Thanks Loxly,

That's really great of you. I'll loosen the noose and come down off the stool.

part of the problem may be that not all affiliates are in or interested in clixGalore (if I read an earlier post correctly)

    Hi Herb,

I firmly believe the relationship between the publisher and the merchant is the one that matters. As long as ClixGalore pays (and they do), and you have a mutually respectful business relationship, then all is well.

I dropped CG because I had few sales and they were deducting a buck a month from my account per their policy. Some of their merchants were fine and others were trash. You will find others here with different opinions, of course.

Clixgalore - HMMM, honestly ... I think I'd rather trust a frog and an abacus for tracking.

The publishers have to trust the network AND the merchant.... or all is not well.

Just paid $75 to announce a great program, with great products, but on a very unpopular network. I wish I would have met you guys weeks ago.

You have time to make changes, your announcement can be updated anytime with new info... like "Hey I listened and now I am on (fill in the name of the most popular network, will take you just a short search to find it)"

I'm sure a lot of people use them, but we all have our own experiences to draw on and sooner or later some folks' tastes change. Work on getting rid of that cold. First things first.

A lot of posts here . . . lot of good stuff to read . . . you might want to spend a little time catching up. Don't let that announcement post die; you can still get some mileage from it. I've seen people refresh them for a long time after the initial post.

    later on we'll talk about tools . . .

sit here, long after my bedtime, kibitzing and generally raising Hell.

I'm an affiliate of several hundred merchants who have been kind and understanding and who haven't kicked me out of their programs yet because I might yet make a sale for them.

I work in several broad and some other narrow niches. I use as many of the tools I can find among the merchants. Don't have much luck in the health-related field yet, but working on it.

I view affiliate marketing as having an extreme potential for making a living. When I find out why I'm not, and make the correction, I expect to do the same. I'd better hurry up, as I'm well past retirement age.

I noticed you were going to provide flash banners. Not all visitors let them run. I'd make sure you have a good stable of non-flash banners and text links available also.

Let's test your sense of humor.

My wife done left me --- You didn't earn enough money,
My dog ran away ------ you thought of your wife, and you call your dog, Honey!

I've made an announcement --- you didn't put the batteies on the microphone!
and no one's signed up today --- at the time that they call you, nobody was home!

I've got the ABW newbie blues --- You don't have the blues,
and no affiliates care ------------- and we all really care,
I've got the ABW newbie blues ---- but we just want our dues,
and my signups are bare --------- and all that it's fair.

The landlady's knockin' ----------------- Open the door and start f her!

She's throwin me out ------- If she is not too ugly,
If you want save my neck--- then, what the heck,
then give me a shout.... ---- tell her she's lovely, kiss her, and forget!

Btw, if you can't take the rain from Miami, next time bring an , OK?

You will get more exposure by listening to what the affiliates want and making a change for the better. As Herb said, when you post in a thread it brings it back to the top. As long as you post good, relevant, interesting updates, you can be "at the top" for a while.

Bumping a thread for the sake of bumping it will make you enemies instead of friends.

Have you started reading and found which network is probably going to be the best one that will get you a boatload of new affiliates?

    vitabloom, congrats on the announcement

Good of you to keep posting and asking the right questions here, as ABW, like I told you is the best.

    Folks,

I spoke with Al a few days ago. He's very eager to learn and do what ever it takes, ethically, to make his program a success. As you can see Al, many are suggesting SAS too.

Call them up today, get on SAS network, vitabloom is perfect to start there and grow, it's only $350 That's the only thing you will pay for ever, (besides the low performance based fee), but that is it. You still need to seek and promote and run a few ads to get the program out there and find the right partners but, you already started on the right foot, ABW.

Affiliates, keep helping and showing vitabloom the way and the light, I know after speaking with him he wants to listen and bring a good program to you.
