What is the best ad spot inside shareasale in your opinion?

Which one would bring the higest conversion of sign ups?

Featured Program of the Week -- no doubt, tried and proven effective (more effective than other advertising options we've tried with SaS).

There is this link for a new program announcement here.

I would like to see more ways to advertise within Shareasale also. The holiday sections are nice, but not always appropriate. Will keep poking around

How would you guys rate the advertising on AbestWeb?
I was thinking of doing an announcement, but isn't it the same people that are ready my posts here? Or are there affiliates who scout for new programs in the announcement area?

I noticed that most posts had something like 100-200 views -- is that pretty good? It seemed kind of low since only a small percentage of those may actually join.

Afshin, consider it a fee of sorts.

You want us to trust you, that you will pay, that you will keep your program funded, that you are open, that you operate above the boards. If you can't even afford an ad on ABW, makes one think. Are you just trying to fly low and just do it on the sly, or can you step up?

Don't let the views alone fool you, making the post says something about your program.

It depends on whether your program is worth joining or not. Have you read the forums here to understand what affiliates like and don't like? Do you use affiliate-friendly best practices? Have you been to one of Andy's seminars? Is your program parasite-infested? Do you offer a competitive commission and return days? Are you on a trusted network? Are you offering an exciting activation campaign? Do you convert well? Do you have leaks on your site? Do you have phone tracking? Are you active on ABestWeb.com (not just pushing your program)?

If it isn't a good program, an announcement here would probably be a waste of money. You'll get people to look at the announcement, but once they check out your site they won't join.

If it is a good program, an announcement is a fantastic investment. One good affiliate will earn you far more than the cost of an announcement. One great affiliate will earn you far more than the cost of a dedicated forum here.

I wouldn't recommend doing an announcement here until you feel that you're program is 100% ready, though. If affiliates look at your program and aren't impressed, most will probably never look again.
