The US is controlled by lawyers. Nobody wanted to sue YouTube until Google bought them. Now they swarm like flies on stuff.

Two lawyers standing on a corner. A beautiful woman walks by.
Lawyer 1 - Man, I'd like to screw here.
    Lawyer 2 - Outta what?

Eric, that is generally covered under free speech as it should be.

I see nothing wrong with talking about anything. It's your own ACTIONS, not someone elses words/video, that would get you in trouble.

    I agree it's free speech.

Agree with you regarding free speech.

Where do you draw the line when it comes to instigating a crime cos any tom-drew and harry can post something or suggesting something. Last I check, I have yet to see any TV shows giving instruction on car hijacking.

Somebody will spin it one way or another and at the end of the day, I think you can look at "contributory negligence". Don't think that the deep pocket folks @ Google will get away scott free if a serious crime is committed.

I'm sure those deep pockets can well afford to pay for all the lawyers necessary to ensure that the 1st Amendment stays in effect.

I think Google would be held blameless, in the way computer game developers and hollywood are not held accountable for people who commit murder and other crimes that are enacted in these forms of entertainment.

I also think it would be huge task to prove, without question, that any one web site, movie, song, or computer game, `forced' a free person to commit a crime. People are free to choose their forms of entertainment, to interpret what they see, and decide their own moral code and behaviour.

Actually this kind of falls under screaming fire when there isn't one.

Also it can be said he is trying to get people to rob cars.

Well hopefully disseminating information like this will lead to more people caring more about their security. There's a video in the sidebar showing an 11 year old girl with no prior experience who is able to do the same technique.
