Not being as graphically talented as many of you I did something simple. It wasn't, however, for my main site it was for my newsletter that went out yesterday.

I can't show it here 'cause my .htaccess works too well

    It's archived Here

I had wanted to do something for the main site but changed my mind last minute. A thread at a Widow's support board I go to had some input from 9-11 widows who didn't want to see it in their "safe" places where they go to find comfort. Being a single parent site we've had a few of these men and women join our crew in the last year. SO, I left the main pages alone in respect for their wishes.

Parentsworld, I have a ladies site too and had the same thoughts.

I had heard the same thing as you so I decided to just put up my memorial ribbon on the right column.

Here is a nice movie of pictures of what happened and what was going on at the time http://home.attbi.com/~sept11/. It's about a 7 meg file and runs for about ten minutes.

I simply placed a small black banner on my sites, saying "Sept. 11, 2001 Never Forget".
