I have been using the free version of the log analyzer program WebTrends on my site that is about 120 pages and gets about 3,000 page views a day. As you may know, WebTrends is discontinuing the free version as of 10/1 and I need to find a replacement log analyzer. I can buy Wusage for $75, but I really want something similar to WebTrends, but cannot afford the $35 (or more) a month WebTrends will now cost.

Does anyone know of a log analyzer program similar to WebTrends that is not that expensive (taking into account 3,000 page views a day).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I have the same problem. I'd love to stay with WebTrends, but their pricing is just too much, especially if you have a decent number of page views.

I plan on switching to AWSTATS, but have the luxury of my own server to install it on.

I still need to remove the Webtrends script from every page, from several sites.

I should have taken the time to figure out how to include it...

    Check out Big Tracker
    It is free.
It doesn't give you as nice of an overall picture, but it sure gives a lot of info. You can even see what plug-ins your visitors have installed.

I also have AWstats (on the server), and Sitemeter (and webablizer on the server) So, call it overkill, but each serves it's own purpose for me.

I tried SiteMeter and I didn't like it much. I used FishTracker for the down and dirty keyword stats, but they've recently started charging too (but not much). I used this in combination with WebTrendsLive so I got more or less a complete picture.

I have some basic stats built into my hosting package, but no access to the logs. Really it's keywords and page popularity I want to know.

I tried AddFreeStats and it's not too bad I guess.

Hmmm.. BigTracker looks very similar to FishTracker so I might give it a go.. but be warned, the statistics on both of these are not 100% secure.
