    noob domainer
i am new to the affiliates and domaining. a few years ago, i bought a 6 char domain (3 char city code followed by "dev.com"). i never did anything with it and mainly used it to point to my home computer. also in doing some affiliate trial and error stuff i have a few other domains.
no reason to keep them and i figured i might as well see what i can get for them. i listed them on sedo, but i was curious what all i can do to sell them.

fyi, i didnt list them here because i dont know what the rules exactly are yet.

Best sales avenue for your domains would depend on the names themselves.

My experience with Sedo is that unless your domains are really premium domains then Sedo might not be the best place for them. You could luck out and get a terrific offer if the right buyer finds them, but Sedo has thousands of names in their database and they could sit there for years before a buyer comes along.

There are numerous other domain aftermarket auctions/sales sites e.g. Tdnam, Afternic, and domain name forums that could result in a quicker sale (often at reseller prices though, rather than enduser prices). So it depends on how anxious you are to sell and how greedy you are

I believe that HERE is the correct section of this forum to list your names for sale.

    Re: STLDev.com

STL is a relatively popular acronym - not only for St.Louis.
Your best bet for a sale at a decent price for this one would be to do a search on Google for companies/groups that use the acronym and market direct to them.

You could do that. Try to identify the correct person/department to address, though.
