how many hours do sit in front of your pc, per day
    Hello Everyone,

    Greetings from Sweden!

I have just found this forum and am very pleased to meet you guys. Im a webmaster at full time since October.

I have a lot of fun, but there insnt a day that goes that i work less than 12-14 hours...sometimes i just do 36 hours straight. Havent met friends for ages.

I do gambling affiliates - a very competitive area.

I was just wondering how many hours you guys spend per day on your business - i think i need a sanity check......

    Kind regards
    Anni

It's not a healthy lifestyle. I have to loosen my belt when I sit down now. Son-in-law calls it "flabbing".

Lots of hours but life is too short to waste it on a pc so the hours are getting fewer each week & more time spent at the beach, outdoors etc .... my favorite word today is automated systems - getting there

Too many hours! I have 25 hours of work a day in front of me and about 8 hours to devote to it. I work like a banshee and get as much done as I can. Then, find things like this forum that eat my time!

Which computer? Between the three at home, and the several at work probably 12-15 hours a day. But this may get worse. I walked into Best Buy the other day and saw something for the kitchen counter. It is a computer with a large touch screen monitor. It is touch sensitiive and everything was large on the screen to make it easy to find and operate. And everything for USB, CD, Camcorder connection is right at the base of the monitor. It is very stylish, and it looks like it was designed to be on a kitchen counter or in a kiosk area. I might get that so I can one on the counter. Then my transformation will be complete to the Dark Side.

I'm on 7 days a week, most of the day. And now with the mobility of my broadband card for my laptop and also my pocket PC access, I can sneak out of the house to kids events and other activities and not feel like I have to rush to the office so I don't miss important emails from affiliates or merchants.

What I count is not the hours a day on the computer, but the hours of sleep. I get buy by on 5 or 6 and would sure like to eliminate that all together. It is cutting in to my excitement of the affiliate marketing drama!!!

Patrick....I went to Best Buy this morning and finally broke down and got a Bluetooth headset. Holding the phone was cutting into my typing time on the computer!!!

Sad, sad, sad....but it beats sitting and watching TV any day.

All I can say is that I went to bed just before 1:00 am, then at 2:00 it dawned on me that I left something important out of what I had just completed and published at 1, so I got up and put in another hour till 3:00 am, and was back at it at 8:00 am.

Where was HoundWife at 2-3:00 am you ask? Well, she writes text and articles for my sites and article submissions, and she was still at her computer that whole time.

    Wait, you mean actually working...?

I think, like most, if I distilled it down to just the hours spent directly in pursuit of income and eliminated all the hours spent futzing about on vaguely related stuff, I'd have a lot more time than I claim to have now.

Reading this thread made me realize how pathetic a group we are. And then I thought about the numerous times I was IM-ing a coworker that sits right beside me (my affiliate alter-ego is a web developer for a university).

And now it's Saturday and I have ESPN on in the background, and I'm devoting more time to the ABW forum. I think I need to check in somewhere...

Yeah--there's always some darned thing that doesn't automate well, which then steals time away from the serious video game playing that the computer is meant for!
