I heard one this today and thought I would share it with you....
An old man and his grandson are on the golf course one morning.
Gramps pointed at a giant oak and said proudly, " Son, when I was your age, I could always shoot over that tree with just a four iron!’
The young man picks a four iron from his bag and hits a high floating ball but it ricochets off the trunk of the oak and lands at the feet of the old man.
"I don’t believe I would have tried that…", Gramps says as he bends down to retrieve the ball.
"What do you mean, Gramps? Not five minutes ago, you said you could shoot over that tree with a four iron…!"
Gramps replies, "Son, when I was your age, that tree was four feet tall".
"I spent most of my money on
Gambling, Whiskey and Women.
The rest I just wasted."
