Looks like Overture is now using pay to search partners much like the cloned sites you find on 7search and the like. I don't pour over my logs everyday but I have noticed my conversions with Overture declining and then I find the above URL hitting my log with my overture tag. For what we pay them this is unacceptable!!!!

    Feedback please!

The big sucking sound your hearing is your Overture PPC click dollars going down the disposal.

They were doing that when I quit funding my account last year, too.

Hits from that type of site don't convert worth a darn and are a big ripoff. A site like that can bleed off literally hundreds of dollars worth of clicks a month, if they get it ranked well in Google (they have their tricky ways to do that, and sometimes can get a VERY high ranking in Google under POPULAR keywords!)! Same place was behind it then, too--Oingo. That they haven't been kicked from sending traffic to Over, shows me that Over couldn't care less about the fact that it's junk traffic!

Allowing those sites to send traffic is just another reason OverSure sucks!

Reading about that still happening makes me glad all over again that I ditched them.

Most of us (I think) can't gripe directly to OT since the listings we have now would be in jeopardy given the current OT requirements. I still have a positive ROI for now. I am looking for new ppc sources. Google adwords has worked well so far. I am seriously looking at Looksmart and Lycos. Feedback here would help many I think. I am willing to pay for quality traffic if it still exists.
