Might be a good idea for affiliate managers to run new app URLs through this database of known BHO/Malware/virus laden S/W installation partners for the internet scumbags.

I think from reading your post and visiting the links that it means Google is actually doing a good thing and is helping to report these bad sites to stopbadware? Am I correct in thinking that?

Guess this might be a dummy question, but is there a reason why so many of the sites on the list start out with numbers (not isp or whatever the numbers are) but they have numbers like:
    1000blahblahblah.com

Just curios Will have to spend some more time at that site. Looks to have a lot of help for learning about the bad guys. Thank you for your post

I think because they don't really care about those domains and know they'll eventually be banned, throwaway domains.

Ummm ok, guess that makes sense but not quite sure why 1000blahblah would be any worse than just blahblah....but I'll take your explanation.
Ok.....know I'm like a two year old but got another one now, too. Do they get banned just from Google or would all the search engines ban them?

One reason is that when alphabetically sorted, these appear at the top of the list.

Or that's my theory at least...

As the list grows you'll find searching for partial URL keywords like "free" or "search" provide some shortcuts at http://www.stopbadware.org/home/repo...searchfulllist

Google's just takinging the highroad along with www.siteadvisor.com. Microsoft and other's throw bucks at the legitimate OUTERs in hopes of un-monitizing the browser spammers and those exploiting security holes or social engineering BHO infestations.
