Congrats! If it isn't off topic, what made you decide to go with SAS?

Best of luck with your program! I'd love to hear how it goes as it grows.

We are just starting to launch our program and have started with MyAP9 and Kowabunga but quickly realized that when it comes to a trusted Network, SAS was hard to beat.
We will continue to use MyAP and start advertising for our program as we get a little more air under our wings but the SAS thing is simply a trial for us. If it works out good, then we will keep going with it.
All in all, I just want to make some Affiliates rich. Oh and I wouldnt mind a haircut from time to time as well.
Wait. Did I just type all that and not even answer your question? Hmmm. I think I did..
I didn't even know what SAS was until I got to these forums and listened to what feels like the majority voice say SAS was Affiliate Safe.
So I was able to wrestle with the money people upstairs (next office over) and explain to them that even if it costs us a little more money, it guarantees money to the affiliate which will help when the Real Affiliates are looking to join new programs.
We have a couple ugly ducks in the office who feel that it doesn't matter who promotes us as long as they see 30 affiliate sign ups a day.
I would rather see one affiliate sign up a day who is going to put time and effort into us and their sites. For those Affiliates, I will go out of my way to get them what they need to push us. New custom banners, text links, not so much on the data feeds yet but i'm learning... etc.

    Thanks for the explanation, Splinter!

And thanks for linking me to those polls, Geno. That certainly shows a clear-cut winner.
