I can understand people not wanting to post their site URLS but I would love to have some tips on where I can advertise my sites? Overture doesn't seem to like affiliate-based sites anymore - so what other options are open that actually convert?

Have you registered any of your pages with Inktomi? I'm very pleased with them. I registered three pages ... Annual fee is $39 for the first page, and $25 each thereafter for pages at the same domain. I've already had over 7000 hits on one of the pages, and I registered around the first of February. That works out to less than 1/2 cent per click ... much more cost effective than Overture's 5 cents per click, and they do convert. They send me a lot of traffic from MSN.

Hi! Thank you for replying! Yes, I have. They are proving to be quite good but what about pay-per-click networks? I tried Findwhat and didn't get anything like the returns as I used to get on Overture before they went very strict.

I have seen much poorer ROI in FindWhat than Overture- but Lycos is using their interface as of today and may be a good one to try

My sites each have dozens of pages. I guess it would behoove me to just list the homepage at first to see how things go? I suppose if it takes off it might be worth paying for some other pages.

It's per domain - not page, isn't it?

    No, it's per page.

Like markymark said it's per page and some quick advice don't mess with listing your home page rather pick a well focused product oriented interior page and try an go for obscure keywords that convert to sales of a specific procuct.

Also home pages don't usually make good Inktomi canditates because they usually don't have as much keyword-rich detail--or, with mall sites, they have so many things that could count as keywords that they cancel each other out.

Like Heyder said, better to go for an interior page.
