Are there still more updates? If not, I still had one question.

    Trust,

Go ahead with your question. There will be more updates, likely in another "string" to come soon... but for now we will take a break since the month is over... need to re-organize, get some feedback on the updates delivered, and come up with new ones, etc...
    Thanks,

It was post 33 and 34 of the other thread about Merchant Timespan reports and archive stats which I didn't quite understand. Where I can select a merchant, a specific time span and a report. But that wasn't available for all of my merchants. Thanks.

    This post:

    Good updates overall.

    Trust,

It has to do with levels of service that merchants are going to be able to choose, though we haven't formalized it as of yet ... still upcoming...

Alright, this is all going over my head It's basic reporting, don't understand the whole merchant choosing part. It's something networks provide and should just be there.

They are all great improvements, hard to select the best.

I don't think anyone would mind if you made 2007 "The Year of the Interface" and just kept going.

    Trust,

I think it may make a little more sense when we get it all sorted out... but, to preface, one of our founding goals was to provide a product to a merchant who was just starting out (biggest concern typically cost), as well as an experienced merchant (more reporting/features/etc..) ... this is along those lines. As the network grows, it is important to me that we continue to provide a product option to both markets... I do believe that they have different needs...

Mack, if someone is volulnteering to pick me up off the pavement afterwards.

Unofficially though, it really is going to be an "interface" year... and a whole lot of other things. Should be fun.

A step ahead of me already. As a merchant one concern that is always in the back of my mind is the scalability of the product. So....down the road as a merchant grows they don't have to migrate to some of the more disliked networks or products.

Today I went to research something, and I found that the merchant I was looking for was not available in there.

Even tho that I had to find out what I was looking for on my own logs, I am glad to see that new feature on SAS, I least now we can see, what we need to see, when we need to see it.

It's good to know what merchants choose to show those timespan reports, and those that for whatever reason, decide not to.

Maybe in a few months, we will see more posts about this new feature, and maybe we even see where some of our cookies may crumble.

"So....down the road as a merchant grows they don't have to migrate to some of the more disliked networks or products."

But for now, let's take Intelliflix for example. They are both at SAS and CJ. I have them at SAS. But if I want the reports I have for other merchants at SAS, I need to put up links to Intelliflix thru CJ. Thanks for answering Brian but the answer you gave is again over my head. It looks like most merchants have it but some of the ones I use don't. So what's the difference between those merchants? Is this something they have to pay for? I'm just not understanding any of it.

I stumbled upon the Invalid Links report this morning - it was hi-lighted - and since that showed me 4 merchants that were offline that I was sending people to... that's my favorite for now.

Kewl!!! Invalid Links, and you guys got me to check out that "make a page " thingy...

    Boy, am I IM-Pressed!

My favorite update for February was MTD reporting for totals. It helps to see how things are going and where I need to concentrate my efforts.

Thanks, SAS! Exceeding my expectations again!

It'll take me ages to check out all of these changes!

But for now, I have one concern: I think it's in the "Merchant Timespan" report (visible from affside). Before every autodeposit, is a notation "Merchant had low funds" despite the autodeposit status. I think that some people will miss the "autodeposit" part and assume that there were multiple instances of low funds, when effectively there weren't (since the account was topped up 1 second later).

Did this just happen because I set the trigger level for GB at $50?

Also, could anyone point me to this "Power Ranking" report I'm starting to see merchants bragging about??

    View and Search Merchant List

    Advanced Search

Then on the bottom above Begin Search there is a Sort by drop down menu where you can pick Power Rank.

So I would say this Advanced Search is my Favorite Feature since I can filter merchants out such as those not on Auto Deposit. Very handy feature.

    Txs, found it.

That's cool. From the affside it helps to find the top merchants (although I'm kind of worried that they will now become saturated with competition since that list unhides the hidden gems).
From the merchant side, it's always motivating to have a high-score list to get onto.

On another note, SO FAR the most eye-opening report I've seen is the merchant-side FTP/datafeed access logs (with the Top 100 being a close second). But I haven't checked them all out yet.

The new newsletter-send interface is cool, too...
But it'd still be nice if SAS could revalidate email addresses once in a while. Those whose addresses don't validate could be removed from the default send list until they do (but not from the network, since it may be an innocent mistake). That way I wouldn't be bombed in bounces every time I send something out.

If you're not on autodeposit and you contact me or attempt to recruit me or whatever, I'll laugh at you. This feature is so important to me and so easy for merchants to employ that it is a hard/firm criteria I use for screening. I too, am super happy to see it in the search tool.
