    I Want One!
On Good Morning America today, they had the cutest little cats, called Toygers, just adorable, they are bred to have the markings like a tiger.

    http://www.jungletrax.com/

Those are the coolest looking cats! The article stated they sell for $800-$4000. For some reason, my wife is not willing to renegotiate our budget for the next three years, lol.

    But, they are STILL cute.

Now, if a merchant ever wants to give out a Toyger as a sales reward/contest, I am SO there!
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

    Cool looking cats.

But I don't think the Komodo dragon I want to get would get along with it.

I think they'd get along fine, short snack between main meals

I want a Ragdoll cat but a) hubby is allergic, and b) we have two big dogs. Both our dogs LOVE cats but I have to wonder if a cat would get any rest in our house, what with Dood kissing it and Whitney trying to play with it.

The key here is creativity Elbow. Go to a local shelter, adopt a tan cat, and then with indelible markers create your own toyger!! Less than $50 including markers!!

Necessity is the mother of invention!!

Snacks, that would include your neighbourhood dogs and cats.

Designer cats are cool, and a status symbol.

But for love, a plain alley cat will do just fine! And a good person can pick out a kitty who will be more grateful for the home than those "designer" cats any day of the week!

Cats bred in a cattery know they are special, but that little alley cat needs to be shown by love and compassion. And they are wonderful pets without the designer problems, like hearing, longevity, spinal deformities, and on and on....

And who wants a catterwalling cat in your living room because you got a designer cat that somebody might want to breed with???? An alley cat can be spayed/neutered in the first year and you never have those problems....

Lucy's adorable - look at those blue eyes! I love cats - the designer ones are pretty cool, but plain ol' everyday cats are plenty good enough for me. Our Squeak is a 21 lb black cat (9 years old now) that was a rescue from an empty lot when he was about 3 weeks old.

Lucy is quite a character. She makes me laugh every day. She is our 7th indoor cat. We found her in our backyard. I keep asking her, "Lucy, where did you come from?" But she won't answer me.

Looking at the pictures of the toygers, she has a lot of their markings ... and I didn't have to fork out $300. She has the tabby tiger markings, but there is a reddish tinge throughout her fur.

The picture above was taken last last summer after she was a few weeks old. Here's a video (You-Tube) I took of her last October playing with my birthday balloon:

The other cat in the video is Bandit. He just loves Lucy! Every evening they snuggle up together on the hassock and keep me company while I work on my website. Like this:

Now, THAT is something I want! I want my 5 to get along! I can only get 4 in the same room unless they are fighting over who gets to snuggle me closest in the bed.....
