It looked like that here North of Omaha tonight. Bad storm rolled in with heavy rain, 70 mph winds and golf ball size hail. Power out for 10,000 people. Somehow your picture did not make me fell better.

    lol

But your effort is much appreciated! We could all use a little more humor about now.

    Thanks.

Those pictures make me glad that I'm living in America, where road collapses like that rarely occur because high spending on infrastructure and strict construction codes would not allow roads to be built so cheaply (you can even see that the top layer of asphalt is the only layer of this paved surface, there is no crushed stone foundation or even flattened dirt). And then there's the appearance that this thin layer of "road" was constructed on top of some sort of underground cavity or sewer. It's amazing that people thought a thin layer of asphalt would somehow be able to act as a bridge and support the weight of a car and possibly excess water.

Those pictures just go to show us that it's best to pay more to make sure the job gets done the right way. Translated into many of our worlds, it means that a hastily-built website may result in little traffic + little revenue = waste of time and/or money.
