    Expiry Dates Wrong!
Why do CJ say the expiry date is different from the end date in the ad? I guess this means that other ads that don't feature the end date in the ad but have an expiry date in CJ would have expired anyway? This seems a real mess, why can't they include proper expiry dates for each link as it all seems a bit of a lottery on when a link will expire with CJ. They should have a column in the link page that has an expiry date next to each link you see from the merchant. This should be a simple thing to do for their programmers.

For example here is a link I found today "20th March"

HSN.com - Home Shopping Network: Text Link Seasonal Link

free shipping on select TVs through March 12. LCD, Plasmas and more
*** This ad will expire in 22 days. ***

This has been a sore-spot for me for years. with both CJ and LS.
SAS and Performics seem to be better.

The ad expiration date is entered in by the merchant at the time of the link creation, so the merchant is to blame for their really bad math.

I've seen some where there were four different dates. The "promotion" expired on one date, the "link" expired on another date, a third date was hardcoded into the link name/description, and a fourth date was shown once you clicked through to the merchant's site.

Merchants: If you can't be consistent, maybe that's one reason why your coupon didn't get promoted by affiliates.

Disc. Channel has a coupon showing at CJ, (Until 12/21, get a free shipping upgrade... )

But the promotional dates are listed Oct. 1-Dec. 19.

Oh yeah, it expires in 2004.
