Need a link to dog obedience stuff
Hey all. Ernie is doing his CGC and TD tests this Sunday, and his first obedience competition the second week of April.

Does anyone have a link to competiton-style collars and leads? I need a fine chain collar and a thin leather lead. I also need a traffic lead but you can get those about anywhere.

If so, please PM me a link. Thanks!

    Him or me?

If you met my dog you'd see that, with his coat, the LAST thing he needs is a shirt during a desert April!

Both of you could get shirts! There's a lot of fun stuff to be had. Lots and lots of shopkeepers with dog and cat designs. Some are artistic, some are funny and some are cute.

I have a non-affiliate link for a site I am working on. There will be a SAS affiliate program there later on (likley end of April).

Just do a Google search for "pet supply solutions" without the quotes and the site is the first in the natural results. I'd also appreciate it if you let me know what you think of the prices there.

    thanks,
    Alon

At a glance the prices look roughly in line. I have some other thoughts for you, if you don't mind....

    1. You have prong collars in the choke chain menu.
1b. The term "choke" is becoming not-so-pc. (FYI)
1c. You have prong and chokes in the "training collar" menu.
    2. Haltis are so popular you should link to them directly from your left hand nav. People who buy those know what they're looking for and don't want to navigate.
2b. Are gentle leaders available? Those are also huge.
    3. What's the difference between a "retractable leash" and a "retractable lead?" That confused me.
    4. You should also have a direct link to Herm Sprenger (or whatever it is) from the lh menu, as that is a huge brand.
    5. As a user of electronic collars, I'd like to see some of those listed! Dogtra is a great brand. (However those FOR SURE aren't pc. )

Maybe they aren't pc but my dogs love their Dogtra collars. They leap and cavort with joy when I get them out because it means we're going somewhere fun and exciting. Walking on the beach, or running with the horses.

I'm a huge fan, as well. They've been key in all the training I do.
