You mean as a phone service or an affiliate partner? Or both?

As far as service, we have had some tower issues in the area. Dropping a lot of calls but it is getting better. When we travel away from our home area and jump towers, its all good again ... If service is what you are talking about.

We have almost no dropped calls. Matt lives in Baltimore, Me Cape Cod, and he travels constantly. Service seems to be available everywhere we are.

I mean their service is great and made a few pennies with their affiliat eprogram but they have just treated me badly lately.

Was wondering about their CS since the AT&T name changed it seems it have gone down hill.

I should of been more clear in my post sorry.

My bro is in Ft Worth and hates them. I switched to Verizon 3 years ago - better cust. service, less dropped calls (at least in my area.)

I was mugged of my phone a gun point and they won't let e upgrade early even though my contract is up for renewal in less than a month.

Turned out cheaper to switch to tmobile.

That is truly horrible. Are you speaking to them on the phone, in person or online?

I have found that they are very different. And be warned that those three entities don't coordinate. I did get stuck in a sticky situation when I went to the store and then wanted to continue the process on the telephone.

But in any event I would demand supervisor after supervisor until they help you? I would fax them a copy of the police report as well.

    Good luck with your situation.

On the phone and in person, I had to pay 27 dollars for a new sim card to unsuspend my number in order t port it.

Police report held no wait with them. Their excuse is new system they have simply doesn't allow for it.

After I *****ed publicly on their support forums, they suddenly allowed me to upgrade but once you treat me like shit and there are other options I take my mney else whre even if more expensive.

They did the "new system" thing to me a while back too. I was also forced to buy a new phone, not just a SIM card LOL. And on top of that, they had somehow "lost" my phone number so I had to use another provider for 2 months, but they continued to bill me for service that was not being rendered during that time. Other providers were also unable to retrieve my number even after Cingular got the issue straightened out.

I'm still not sure why they are re-branding back to AT&T. I hate the decision. They had spent 4 billion promooting Cingular's brand since 2001, and it was top of mind for many consumers.

Not to mention their target demo these days is young, and AT&T is a complete unknown to the 15 to 26 crowd.

    I just don't get it.
