    Low Buy.com Conversion Rate
I'm curious if anybody has noticed a poor EPC and conversion rate with Buy.com? They're my top merchant this month in terms of clicks, but my earnings are only 5% of my top earning merchant. How does this happen? Could it be Google Checkout? Or maybe they're just including too many "on order" or out of stock products in their feed? Something doesn't feel right here.

My conversion ratio has been fairly consistent at about 10%.

How do your Buy.com clicks, sales and earnings compare to previous months?

Same here, last few months about 5% conversion. Still not bad but in Dec, was 10% and months prior over 20%. So they've been dropping for me.

This month's conversion and EPC are about half what they were in Jan and Feb. I wonder if their promiment $10 off with Google Checkout promotion is a problem. Are they tracking Google Checkout sales?

Actually, that wasn't what I asked. How do the number of clicks and the number and amount of sales compare to previous months. If your clicks are significantly higher than in the past, maybe there is an issue there.

CJ has previously confirmed that Buy.com sales through Google Checkout track. Hopefully nothing has changed.

Clicks from me have been about the same.

I could be way off base here but this is something I've been watching for a few months. Pure speculation on my part, nothing scientific.

When I pick specific electronics to promote I check for it on shopping.com and do a price comparison. I noticed buy.com was lowest very often in the past. Recently I've seen a lot of items undercutting buy.com by pennies. Almost as if buy.com is the price to beat and merchants are using shopping.com to find that price.

I don't know if it's hurting them or not. I don't have enough clicks or history with buy.com to make any conclusions. It is interesting to watch because it happens on multiple comparison sites. You'll see 2-3 merchants hovering near buy.com prices on high volume or high value items.
