March 23rd, 2007, 05:27 PM #1eBay ZERO Commission Winning Bid?
Those of you promoting eBay, could you check your "Winning Bids" Report for yesterday (March 22)? I just ran my report and had not one, but two, show up with a Zero Sale Amount and Zero Commission.
This just does not seem possible to me. One was a $0.01 sale with a high shipping charge ... but still the 20 cent listing fee should have produced an 8 cent commission at 40%.
The other was a Buy-It-Now for $10.50. The listing fee in this case would have been 60 cents and there would also have been something in the Final Valuation Fee. This Seller does not have an eBay store (which would have had lower listing fees, but higher closing fees) so it was done through regular auctions.
This is an absolute first for me. I've never seen Winning Bids posted with zero commission before.

I'm seeing a whole bunch... but not from ebay.com. All mine are coming from ebay.co.uk.EPN - Cautiously, but paranoically, optimistic.

I'm not in any of the other programs, just eBay.com.
This is not good. How can eBay have an auction close with a sale, and not make anything from it? I haven't seen any more since that one day I had two, but still. There's something off here.

After read your post, I downloaded the reports from CJ and checked it. I didn't see anything like that in my reports. I suspect Ebay software has a bug. You should report it to Ebay.
