WebMerge publishes static web pages from any delimited source, such as the exported contents of databases and spreadsheets.

To alter existing HTML you'd need a web authoring tool like DreamWeaver or FrontPage, or at a minimum a text editor.

What alterations need to be made?

Sir These pages were developed using tools like dreamweaver. But the pages were not developed overnight the complete web site was developed piece by piece from years together. Is there any more information that would help you give a solution to my problem.

If the pages are consistently formatted it may be possible to do a search-and-replace for the portions that need updating. Dreamweaver includes good tools to make site-wide replacements, and there are others as well. You might start by looking through the index of Dreamweaver's manual for info on its search-and-replace feature.

Thank you for the kind words, but the site-wide search-and-replace feature in Dreamweaver is reported to be pretty good. Check it out and if it doesn't do what you need feel free to drop me an email and perhaps we may be able to craft a custom solution for you.
