Standard and Advanced Match Type Mixed Results
Standard match type ads will no longer receive priority placement over Advanced match type ads.
How will this affect my account?
There are several ways that this could impact your account, depending on whether you've set up your ads as using the Standard or Advanced match types:
* In some cases, Standard match type ads may be displayed lower in search results than previously, because they will be competing equally with Advanced match type ads for position.
* Some Advanced match type ads may be displayed higher in search results than previously, because they will be competing equally with Standard match type ads for position.
* This could cause some advertisers using both types of match types to pay higher click charges and see greater traffic volume than under the old system.
What do you think about this change?

You used to be "given" a standard advantage, now that advantage will come along because of standard match's inherently higher degree of targeting.
