    Calling Excel Gurus
    Hey All,

    I'm happy the code corner is here as i have a problem in excel formulas that has been driving me nuts

    using the formula string:
    =IF(OR(ISNUMBER(SEARCH({"Color Collection"etc, etc....},C2))),"2","99")

    I use this to fill a few a columns that I then want to combine/reduce to a single number such as "2", however using =MIN(range) to combine the columns results in 0 instead of the given number such as "2"

    I've tried all cell formats and can only think that the logical value being created by MIN (even tried SMALL) this formula is being ignored ("99" was added to make sure a number of some sort returned and the result reads 2 or 99 when the formula is used.

    If this makes any sense HHHHEEEELLLPPPPP lol :-)~

    found the answer, thanks for looking in

    the " " treats the result as an absoulte value not a number, therefore min can not value the result
