    I think the monitor is actually a TV, so they can catch the news when the "not yet invented technology" gets announced.

    Shucks. And I remember using Fortran, teletype, and all that. In fact, I remember wondering what you do with a terminal - how could you use it to read your punchcards?

    Well, years after the punchcards, I remember wondering what that thing called a hard drive was for. After all, everything you'd need, including programs, fit on a floppy. And that was when a floppy was floppy.
