    So it Goes...
One of my favorite authors passed away yesterday. I probably learned more life lessons from Slaughter-House Five, Breakfast of Champions, Hocus Pocus, and Cat's Cradle than I ever did from school. Hopefully the Tralfamadorian's are being nice to him.

Great books, great guy. Slaughter House 5 has such poignant images and weirdness too, possibly the best book I've ever read - I must buy it again as I lost mine many years ago - too enthusiastic in pressing it on friends to read.

That sucks. I kept hoping he'd come out with one last mind-blowing novel. He could sure tell a good story.

In College, I played a role in 'Happy Birthday Wanda June' as the drunken angel...I distinctly remember sitting in the clouds (all made from cotton of course) singing...'Tiny Bubbles...in the Wine' and hearing the audience roar with laughter....

..guess I played a good drunken angel ;-)
