I recently received a call from a customer who was unable to pay with his credit card because of fire wall in his office would not allow this. I took the order and called the AM of eBags and gave him the information. He called the customer, took the order and credited us. Suppose affilites put their phone numbers after every link saying - Call this number if you want to order by phone OR click here if you want to buy online. Wouldn't this reduce some of the phoned orders that we all loose. Is this legal?

I don't think merchants would go for that. Having the 1800# there and the customer calling in, gets them out of paying commissions to the affiliate who brought the customer to their site. I know some will, buy most won't.
