How do you write from your web e-mail address?

I have e-mail addresses for my websites such as info@"mysite.com".

Through my web hosting panel, I set them up so that if I receive mail to those addresses it will automatically forward it to my aol e-mail such as "mysite"@aol.com.

The problem comes when I want to write back to a visitor. I want to write back from info@"mysite.com", but I don't know how.
So I've been writing back from my aol e-mail account.

It would be much more professional the other way.

Will someone please explain to me how to do it?

Outlook Express is on my computer, but I don't know anything about using it. Is that what I need to use?

I would really appreciate any help or information you could give me in setting this up.

Thank you,

What e-mail program do you use? Outlook Express? You say it is on your computer so will assume you do. Firtly I would dump it - major breeding grounds for viruses and other attacks.

You need to configure all e-mail accounts in Outlook. Your control panel for your account probably has an auto configure button.

Then, when you go to write an e-mail there is a from drop down box. Select the e-mail account you want to reply from. You need to make sure your SMTP info is correct and possible configure authorised logins.

Need more info as to what part is causing problems though.

Thank you for your reply, PerfectG!

I've got it now. All I have to do is set up an e-mail address with my host. Then to send mail I just type mail."mysite".com. I tested it and it works!

I can't believe it was that easy and I'm just now figuring it out! Oh well, better late than never.

Thanks again for replying, G.

Hi Paula,

If you have several email addys going to your outlook express box then if you double click where it has your out going email address it should bring up all of your email addys for that OE act and then just click the one you want. Ummm, don't feel bad. I just figured it out the other day myself.
